Six Flags may close California’s Great America amusement park by 2027

Susanna Tubart of Disney Live Entertainment spoke with Fox Business on June 5, 2025, about the reaction to the new Disneyland Memory of Land 70 and the story of the stories that enter into projects.
Six flags indicate that it may close one of its gardens on the West Coast, just months after the company announced Maryland Park, its doors will close this fall.

California theme park was originally built on public lands, but Cedar Fair bought 112 acres under the park in 2019 for about $ 150 million. In 2022, Cedar Fair sold these lands to the real estate company Prologis for about $ 310 million with the lease contract agreement. This lease agreement is scheduled to end in 2028, with the option to extend the term for an additional five years, as shown in a 2022 press release of Cedar Fair.
