Skullcandy has made a lot of wireless earphones, decent headphones and budget over the years. But any Skulcandy product has no noise or approaching sound quality, not to mention competitors, a brand like Bose, so far.
Enter the Skullcandy 360 ANC method. At first glance, with its stem -based shape and home charging, it looks like Dime Evo for the company. But when the earphones appear a little closer, they will notice the similarity of the 360 style in the Bose Quietcomfort Ultra. This is not by chance, nor, Skullcandy did not draw Bose design. Instead, the two companies have made a partnership to create a 360 ANC method, and the result is amazing. These are easily the best earphones made by Skullcandy at all. With a preliminary price of $ 100, Bose fans are not the only ones who should pay attention.
Editor’s note: Skullcandy indicated that the 360 ANC method will cost more in the weeks that followed – perhaps up to $ 130. However, this review reflects our ideas at a launch price of $ 100. If the price increases and when we change our classification.
Comfort and elegance
There are no two ways about it, the 360 method is almost identical to the Quietcomfort Ultra (QCUE) earphones. Place side by side as you did in these pictures, and it is immediately clear how similar them. Method 360 uses stability domains itself – silicone fillings that provide safe and comfortable suitability. Like QCUE, you get three sizes of these gangs and three sizes of ear. I always liked the way QCUE feels, and the 360 -comfortable method is everything. Like Bose Buds, method 360 IPX4 is categorized to resist basic water.

Skullcandy found some ways to mode a unique rotation on the design. The 360 bright trunk method is used with a distinctive semi -tilted logo, and there are indicators on the external surface.
I am less enthusiastic about the charging state. Skullcandy chose to design sliding sleeves on the traditional null vicious shellfish or face. It makes a large and huge package not easy to slip into the pocket. Perhaps for this reason you get the guaranteed caratiner – to divide it into a belt ring instead.
On the other hand, skullcandy lovers may love the many methods of the issue. It comes in four transparent solid colors (black, white, red, beige) as well as Leopard-Look.
Getting buds and abroad is also very expensive. You have to learn the right direction for each side, because there is nothing intuitive immediately.
Here’s advice: Hold the box upside down, with the skull logo, but away from you, and the Carabiner episode indicates you, but at the bottom. Pull the ring, and when the ear listening holder slides, the right ear headphones will be on the right and left side on the left. You can pull it directly and put it in your ear without any twisted or turning.
Controls and communications
Although method 360 may look like Ultra Ultra Bose quietcomfort, from the program perspective, it seems to use the same later Bose Quietcomfort’s ear platform, this is often good. Skullcandy’s Skulliq is a cloning of the Bose QCe app (or perhaps the opposite?
There are four for each side (unilateral, double, three points, in addition to tap and celebration) and can be set in any function, including Play/Pause, skipping path, up/down, ANC/Transparency, Spotify Tap, Assistant Accessant, or photo capture.

I am not a great admirer with touch control items, but I found that they worked without disadvantage 360.
Employment sensors help in automatic tension and CV, although strange, cannot be disabled.
The two fields that I would like to see more calm effect are the control of the African National congress Party and multiple points.
With super ear headphones, you can choose the transformation between ANC and transparency, without cycling by putting off. Bose does not offer quietcomform earphones, not on method 360 as well.
The Bose music app, which is used to control the super ear headphones (and many other Bose products) gives you a very useful overview of pre -associated devices as well as the currently associated devices. The switch between these devices is surprising. For QCE/Method 360, you are alone. You can run or turn off the Multipoint, but there is no device management.
However, Multipoint works like magic, and I haven’t had any problem switch quickly between two connected devices.
Sound quality
I can’t believe I am writing this, but Method $ 99 $ 360 ANC looks exactly like Ultra Ultra $ 299 when using it with iPhone. I select the phone because the super ear headphones allow you to use the Qualcomm AptX Snapdragon Snapdragon program when you have a compatible Android headphone (other than iPhone), and this will make a small but noticeable difference.
So when Skullcandy boasts that “Skullcandy brings style, Bose brings the sound”, this is not just the marketing of BS – it’s legitimate.
Compared to Skullcandy Rail Anc, method 360 is at another level. Bass is full and reliable, there are a lot of details in the metric, and in the classic Bose style, high levels are delivered with a spark.
When I surpassed the usual test paths, I kept saying to myself, yes, yes, yes, as I exchanged back and forth between the method and the super ear headphones.
You may not like Bose’s voice – not everyone does – but if you are like many who do it, the 360 ANC method is no less than a gift for Bose fans with a limited budget.
You can even get three useful EQs (music, Bass Boost, and PodCast) as well as a dedicated setting with the same five -scale equalizer that gives Bose people calm ear.
Cancel noise and transparency
Bose may play the Method 360 sound, but it maintains the crown jewel of the brand (cancellation of the active noise) for itself. It can be said that Method 360’s ANC is the best Skullcandy presented on a set of wireless ear headphones, but they are not able to quiet ear headphones in Bose and Noher Nother of the Ultra Earbuds.
This is completely good given the price. The African National Congress Party is still strong enough to reduce many dispersed voices. In my gym, it didn’t give me absolutely silence, but I shot down the nearby drone and the house audio system to the extent that I can easily focus on my podcast.
Traffic and other sounds were reduced in the streets. You are not sure when you want to block a lower sound, but there is an adjustment to ANC in the Skulliq app.
The status of the real one -party situation is the wind. Even small storms are audible. If you are planning to use the 360 ANC method for running or biking, you may need to turn off anc.
Transparency, or “Stayaware” as Skulcandy calls it, is also completely served, leaving a good amount of outer sound, and your voice remains somewhat normal in your ears. Once again, it is not clear as in Bose’s earphones, but it is hardly a loser.
There are only two things that I want to fix Skulcandy: the inability to switch between the African National Congress Party and transparency, as I mentioned earlier, and a way to reduce the level of sound in ads for changing the operative situation. They are aloud in a strange way. Better of that, let me turn them out.
Quality of communication
Surprisingly, the 360 method is good like Ultra Bose QC, it is surprising that the quality of its calls is actually better than both QC and QC’s regular ear.
It is not that Bose buds are known for the quality of their calls. Bose makes many things well, but the quality of the call was not moderate at best. However, Skullcandy buds are better and kept my heavy pressure -free vocal -compressive while preventing more external sounds.
When connected to Stayaware mode, the ability to hear your voice helps a lot with fatigue.
Battery life
Skullcandy connects the 360 -tolerance way in ANC at 9 hours for each charge with ANC on (and a total of 32 hours with the addition of the charging status capacity), and jumping these numbers up to 11 and 40, respectively, when the African National Congress Party is.
For those of you keep the result, this is the same normal Bose QC earphones.
If it should be running out of the juice, there is a quick charging system that is two additional hours from the time of listening after 10 minutes of charging.
Skulliq will show you the earphones battery level, but the only way to check the remaining charging of the condition is to remove or replace an ear headphone and then notice the LED color of the case.
What is missing?
Most of this review spent how Skullcandy Method 360 ANC compares with QC and QC Ultra headphones. But it is worth noting some differences as well.
Below are some of the features that you will find on Bose buds that are not available from Skullcandy.
- QC Ultra sound (QC Ultra)
- Suitable test (QC Ultra)
- Qualcomm AptX Codecs Adaptive/Losless (QC Ultra)
- CustomTune (QC Ultra)
- Voice commands on the device (QC Earbuds)
- Wireless Shipping (QC Earphone)
conclusion
Although it comes with both an embarrassing and huge charging issue, the Methody Method 360 ANC is an amazing value. The partnership with Bose gave them first -class sound quality, comfort and stability.
Thanks to the quality of calls that glorify both Bose Anc’s wireless earphones, great control tool options and customization options, the battery life is more than enough for most people, it is difficult to object to the African National Congress Party and transparency is less than just $ 100.
