SSA reports better performance under Trump than Biden administration

The Social Security Administration is back against senator Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass, after the main data removal agency and cover-up accused a dysfunction.

Warren’s charge also retracted the cover -up, saying that SSA has improved customer service, including “shorter waiting times on phones and offices, as well as a decrease in accumulation.” Bisignano said 81 percent of performance measures are better than before, with the rest in the same way.

According to SSA data, the average waiting times of the phone decreased from 29 minutes in 2024 to 16 minutes in 2025, with August to just 9 minutes.

The deficit determination decreased pending approximately 1.2 million in August 2024 to about 907,000 per year. The treatment of the demand for disability was exposed from 231 days to 217 days. SSA reports of retirement and survivors demands were treated by 87 % of time in August 2025.

Bisignano wrote that the agency’s goal is to become a “digital first” operation that works efficiently and serves people, whether they call, visit an office, or use the site. He said that the ongoing monitoring of the main performance indicators is part of this effort.

Warren also urged work with SSA instead of spreading what he called “reckless fear and lying that social security disappears.”

“It is time to stop social security weapons,” he wrote. “The American people do not want a social security room. They want their leaders to protect and preserve social security, just as President Trump promised.”
