‘Stanford 2.0 on an island’: Indian origin techie sparks vision for a digital nation on a Bitcoin bought island near Singapore

A tropical island near Singapore has become the launch platform for one of the most daring Silicon Valley ideas. Balaji Srinivasan, an Indian technology and technology businessman, and the former Coinbase CTO bought the island to build a “network state”-a central society for the digital number targeting technicians, creators and founders.

Serenivasan’s vision, detailed in his book 2022 NetworkIt is the creation of border societies, funded by the crowds online, demanding material lands, and seeking global recognition.

At the Al Jazeera Center, there is a network of networks, a three -month residential program that mixes emerging entrepreneurship and personal development. Serenivasan says that the school is designed to enhance “victory and assistant” societies that focus on truth, health and wealth, and reflects his greatest mission to rethink the rule in the digital age.
