Co-op to roll-out ESELs to over 1,600 stores by 2025 end

The BRISHISH CO-Operative Group Co-OP collection has unveiled plans to publish ESELS stickers through more than 1,600 of its stores by the end of the year, as part of the efforts made to enhance the shopping experience.

The expansion will continue, with the aim of providing all stores that exceed 2,300 people with this technology by 2026, which represents the largest implementation of this technology in the United Kingdom.

This initiative was appointed to simplify membership records, provide immediate access to advantages, and provide prices.

Currently, more than 700 cooperative stores are characterized by electronic stickers.

ESELS uses Next Field Communication (NFC), allowing shoppers to “click to join” cooperative membership directly through their mobile phones.

“Electronic stickers are not only the possibility of enhancing product information and transparency, avoiding paper waste, improving work methods, but can also enhance shopping experience and facilitate customers to become a member of the cooperative and start benefiting from members’ price savings, promotion, and providing a wide range of daily basics,” David Tayas said for cooperative operations.

Earlier this year, CO-OP announced its partnership with VUSIONGURP to move from the edge of the paper edge to the electronic versions.

Electronic stickers facilitate store operations, such as renovation of stocks, selecting online orders, and immediately updating customers on the latest savings and cooperative deals.

“We are proud to partner with the cooperative to give UK clients access to the benefits of electronic cliff stickers and technology for the actual store,” said Roy Horgan, CEO of VUSIONGROUP UK & Ireland.

“The innovative CO -OP of NFC brands to link customers smoothly with the membership benefits directly from the shelf is just one view of how this technology is converted into a retail experience. With other applications via the supply chain and customer trip – for customers and comrades – this application is an important step in what we expect to be a broader transformation in the industry.”

“Co-OP to Choil-Out Esels for more than 1,600 stores by 2025” was created and published by Network Insight Network, a brand owned by Globaldata.
