Apple weighing iPhone price hikes, wants to avoid blaming tariffs: report

The Wall Street Journal reported on Monday, noting that people are familiar with this issue, that Apple, which brings most of its devices in China, wants to avoid assigning high prices to customs tariffs, so it is considering ways to update devices that can be used to justify high prices.

The magazine stated that the new iPhone devices from Apple are scheduled to be released this fall, and it is expected to have changes in design and coordination, such as the Ultrathin option, according to the magazine.

This report comes after the Trump administration exploded a report that Amazon is considering showing the impact of definitions on the prices that consumers pay as “hostile political action.” In response to the report, Amazon said that the plan from the Amazon team is a field that was never “approved and will not happen.”
