Taiwan warns China’s aggression threatens global security and maritime trade

Taipei, Taiwan-With China submitting power to the Pacific Ocean, the Taiwan Pigen Affairs Minister of Taiwan Big sends a clear message: The world must now behave to face the growing marine infection of China.

Kwan spoke exclusively to Fox News Digital at the Taiwan International Oceanic Forum 2025 in Taipei, and Kwan warned that China’s actions in the Taiwan Strait – calm ships, threatening semi -sea cables, and exclusive exercises – are not just regional provocations, but a global threat to the free flow of approximately $ 3 in an annual Maritim.

“This is not a home issue,” she said. “It is a global security issue. Whenever we prepare the conflict, the less likely it becomes.”

Kwan, who was supervised by the Taiwan Coast Guard, admitted that it is not balanced in size between the Taiwan fleets and China’s fleets. “We are watching all Chinese exercises. We analyze. We adapt. We respond.”

Her comments came amid increasingly concerned that Beijing may try “semi -extremist” in Taiwan. This will be an aggressive and mysterious step less than the war, but it is destroyed for global shipping and trade.

Taiwan has not independently governed by the Communist Republic of China (PRC), which was founded in October 1949. However, Beijing spends hundreds of millions of US dollars every year paying its distorted version of history and in which Taiwan is in the boycott of China that the force must be recovered if necessary.

Beijing says it is actively preparing for the war unless Taiwan Kotovs and accepts to become a kind of “special administrative zone” in China, similar to the situation in Hong Kong – the place where the opposition is tolerated or protest almost today; Even wearing a shirt reads “Hong Kong” can lead to prison time.

Kwan urges Democratic allies to take the threat seriously. She emphasized that Taiwan does not escalate, but always works when China intrude.

“When the Chinese ships enter illegally, we respond to the application of the law, not provocation,” said Kwan. “We are waiting for their charge, their crew, and we document everything – in general and in multiple languages – to show the world that we follow international law.”

She referred to a recent accident, as the Chinese Coast Guard employees illegally boarded a Taiwanese phrase, but they withdrew quickly after the arrival of the Taiwan Coast. She said: “It was not good intentions.” “It was a matter of optics. China wanted to maintain the illusion of a single Chinese family unit. We are exposed to a lie.”

“The real goal of China is to normalize its aggression by framing it as internal affairs,” said Kwan. “Our mission is to fight this by transparency and international media.”

Minister of Taiwan

Taiwan Koan Bing’s Minister of Ocean Affairs provides opening notes at the conference in July.

“China is seeking to reshape the planet in its own form,” said Piero Tuzi, Director of the staff of the congress Executive Committee in China. “It is a systematic competitor, not just a strategic.”

Tozzzi says Taiwan should increase the imports of liquefied natural gas from the United States, which would give the US Navy more justification to ensure safe passage, “even under the conditions of the siege.”

The former Minister of Defense in Britain, Sir Javin Williamson, also installed it, praised the recent British, French and Dutch navy via the Taiwan Strait – but he said it is not enough.

“We cannot let the United States bear this burden on its own,” he told Fox News Digital. “Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has woke up. Now we must wake up to China’s ambitions in the Pacific.”

Even symbolic gestures, Williamson said the issue. In reference to the informal acting offices in Taiwan around the world, which usually uses the name “Taipei”, he said, allowing Taiwan offices to use the name “Taiwan”, for example, has a weight.

Tozzi put it frankly during a committee in the forum: “There will be an arrangement based on the rules. The only question is: Who gets writing the rules?”
