Tammy Rivera broke it off with Carlos King and kept it real about her marriage to Waka Flocka. She recalled meeting him during spring break in Miami and how he immediately started doing his best to lock her up. The moment he got to her place on his tour bus, everything shut down, she said. Soon after, she moved herself and her daughter, Charlie, to Atlanta. Their love story went exactly as Waka wanted, and they eventually tied the knot, but unfortunately they ended up filing for divorce in 2023.

Tammy told Carlos that although the cheating had strained their relationship, other problems had led them to break up. She admitted that she was starting to lose respect for him and knew it was time for them to break up.

“I would rather lose my husband at this time than my boyfriend,” Tammy explained. “After a while, when you go through a lot with someone, you lose respect for them. I didn’t want that to be the case for us. So, I bowed out gracefully.”

Tammy said Wakka eventually stopped cheating and really tried to make things work, but she never healed. It’s still her “I chose to stay.” But her staying around made her resent him. She has now come to terms with their relationship and admitted that she is thinking about their time “It just ran its course.”

As for where Waka stands now? Tammy said they’re in a good place now. They still talked, she said, and when they finalized their divorce, they thanked each other for the memories and the effort they put into their relationship.

Now, months later, Tammy says she stands ten fingers behind her husband. She tells Carlos straight up that nothing can make her take away how happy she is now.

“There is not enough money in the world that can make me leave this man. I can find a richer man, but I cannot find the rich morals and spirit I have now. There is [nothing] In this world that would replace what I have now. Rivera shared.
