‘I was unaware of who gave final approval to use autopen,’ top Biden aide admits

A senior former assistant to President Joe Biden said that she was empowered to direct the signatures of the autopsy, but she was not aware of those in the interior circle of the president giving her a final permit, according to a source familiar with the closed assistant certificate in front of congress on Tuesday.

Nira Tandin, the former director of the Local policy Council in Biden, witnessed hours on Tuesday during an interview before the House of Representatives Supervision Committee, which was investigating the former mental president and his use of an automatic signing tool that allowed assistants to sign a pardon for amnesty, notes and other important documents on behalf of Biden.

During a Tanden interview with Congress, which lasted for more than five hours, the legislators, in her role, told the Minister of Staff and the chief adviser to the former president between 2021 and 2023, as was allowed to direct the signatures of the automated pilot on behalf of Biden. When Tanden was asked if she had discussed Biden’s health or fitness to work as a president during her time as the best assistant, including during the period of the former president’s performance on a large scale last summer, Tandin said she did not do so. The legislators have set up a list of the names of officials who could have been discussing with her, and Tanden said, “No” for every name, according to a source familiar with her closed testimony.

Tanden did not talk to the correspondents on the way to the Capitol on Tuesday morning. Upon exit, she expressed her willingness to cooperate with the ongoing investigation.

“I just spoke with the House of Representatives Oversight Committee, the majority and the Council of the Meetings. I answered every question, and I was happy to discuss my public service and it was a comprehensive process. I am happy because I answered everyone’s question,” Tandin told reporters.

When he asked if there was any effort to hide Biden’s condition, Tanden replied, “Certainly no.”
