Trump sees a ‘manufacturing boom’ in first full jobs report of second term

President Donald Trump boasted that the United States is suffering from a “manufacturing boom” after issuing the first report on his second term.

The Ministry of Labor stated on Friday that employers added 151,000 jobs in February, less than 160,000 jobs by Economists LSEG. However, manufacturing added 10,000 jobs in February, above the estimate of LSEG specialists to make a profit of 5000.

“During the past year, the Biden administration witnessed a loss of more than 110,000 manufacturing jobs or 9,000 manufacturing jobs every month. During the first month in the office, we not only stopped the collapse of manufacturing, but we started to reverse it quickly and obtain great gains,” Trump said. “We have created 10,000 manufacturing jobs in February alone. This has not happened long ago.”

“ISM manufacturing scanning and S&P also confirmed that our administration is due to a completely new local manufacturing boom after a major collapse during the Biden era.”

Trump said he believed the labor market “will be great”, but he will get high -wage manufacturing jobs instead of government jobs.

“We had a lot of people in the government. You can not only do it. We had a lot, a lot and a lot. This is for 40 years. You know, this is not only now. The focus has been on this and the worst, and hire more and more people.”

Federal government workers decreased by 10,000 jobs in February, when the Ministry of Governmental efficiency (DOGE), led by Elon Musk, began to make discounts.

“Since the beginning of NAFTA, there have been 90,000 factories and closed factors in this country. Think about this, 90,000 factories and factory have been closed in this country. Many of them were auto manufacturing factories. This is a terrible census. We’ll be dissolved,” Trump continued.

“You’ll see it already. We already have many who are built or started to build, and many who were built in other countries and stopped and come here now because of the definitions. This is a big thing. This is what you want to hear.”

Trump also said that Canada is receiving a 250 % tariff on dairy and wood products in the United States, and that unless Canada abandoned this tariff, the United States will impose a 250 % mutual tariff on goods like it – perhaps as soon as that day.

“They will meet the same tariff, which means exactly what he did not escape. This is what the mutual means. We may do this early today, or we will wait until Monday or Tuesday. But this is what we will do,” Trump told reporters at the White House. “We will accuse the same thing. It is not justice. It was never fair. They dealt with our farmers badly.”
