The Download: how to make better cooling systems, and farming on Mars

This is today’s edition of the downloadand Our newsletter on weeks that provide a daily dose of what is happening in the world of technology.
How can three -dimensional print make better cooling systems
The new three -dimensional printed design can make an integral part of cooling systems such as air conditioners or refrigerators smaller and more efficient, according to the new research.
Thermal exchanges are devices subject to heat, and they are everywhere – used in data centers, ships, factories and buildings. The goal is to pass the largest possible temperature from one side of the device to the other. Most of them use one of some standard designs that were historically easier and cheaper.
Energy demand has been set on cooling buildings alone with a double between now until 2050, and new designs can help meet huge demand expectations for the coming contracts efficiently. Read the full story.

As a graduate student student, I saw the work that is going through sensitive experiments, but the daily milling of athletic discovery is completely strange rituals for me. This feeling is promoted only through popular books from mathematics, which often takes the tone of the priest that distributes speeches to the believers.
Fortunately, there are ways to return it to the ground. Popular mathematics books seek to obtain these old ideas, whether through baking recipes or hot political issues. My judgment: Why not? It deserves a shot. Read the full story.
