The unibody and camera plateau feel more significant in person

It was not surprising at all anyone, that the Apple revealed the new iPhone 17 series, including the iPhone Air, which CEO Tim Cook said at the launch event today liberated the company to make the most professional phones ever. Is this claim true or often? Here in Apple Park, I managed to take a quick training show for iPhone 17 Pro, and although I am clearly I cannot answer this question based on a brief inspection of new phones, I am definitely fascinated.
I made a line of the new cosmic orange model, which reminds me of the occasion of the Ultras Apple Watch. It has already been taken in the way IPhone 17 Pro looks like, and I don’t even mind the new camera plateau, but it may be only because I am a lollipop for change.
This is not just a shiny new thing, to be clear. Far from that. The iPhone 17 Pro that I played was the orange version and had a kind of mysterious “soft touch” compared to the iPhone 16 Pro that I was using for about a year. I also loved the option of blue, which is a little richest than what appears in the pictures. Regardless of the color, I found that the aluminum frame and finishing the edges are generally approaching, and I say that this person who has iPhone 16 Pro has a large series of cracks because it fell and fell to its edge.
Certainly I think, although there is a slight comparison in the total installments of professional phones, the potential improvement in durability is worth it. More importantly, the back of the iPhone 17 Pro is also characterized by a ceramic shield in the straightforrile panel, so it should be more marginalized than its predecessor.
Although the new Unibody Design design, I found the camera control button on the right still is reasonably pressing, although I think I am more accustomed to one on the iPhone 16 Pro and I find it a little easier to click at the moment.
More importantly, this is something that I should spend more than an hour with the iPhone 17 Pro to check, the redespings should help in the battery life. The camera plateau now includes many ingredients, which liberates the space in the rest of the iPhone battery body. This, in addition to improved energy efficiency in the A19 Pro processor, is supposed to make iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max longer than before.
I hate and appreciate Apple’s tendency to reach new terms for its features, and while I was wandering a little in the word “Platau” to describe the rectangle unit on the back of the iPhone 17 Pro, I definitely find it comfortable to use it as a reference. The camera plateau contains the three 48 -megapixel fusion cameras that Apple described during the keyword, and I can check that I have seen camera enlargement options up to 8X in the camera lens. I have been tested some of them shortly in the Apple Observatory space, and it was close to the Infinity Building away. Without a closer look at the resulting images, I can’t confirm the quality, so all I can say is that the interface is still familiar to use.
I have also had the opportunity to quickly verify the new Selfie CareP camera, and I must say that it is now logical. Why was Apple to redesign the camera application using iOS 26. I didn’t know immediately the place of finding it, but I am sure I would learn over time. Currently, Apple actor showed me a useful Apple actor who stands next to the phone where everything was.
It was not easy to test many other interesting things about iPhone 17 Pro quickly, so we will have to wait so that we can review them to see if the claims stop Apple. These are things like improving performance with A19 Pro, better thermal management with the steam room on the plane, as well as the battery life distributed. I will be curious to find out what we learn over time about re -design and whether it has any effect on calling and fixing calls as well.
Although I was completely taken through the new appearance and the iPhone 17 Pros color, I must admit that I am a little bit of my colleague Sam Radford, who was spending some hands on time with the iPhone Air. While colors are not attractive in this line, extreme thinness is definitely very attractive. Depending on my limited experience, the iPhone Air has a little rounded edges compared to the gentle galaxy S25 from Samsung, but you must definitely check SAM’s impressions for more details.
