Think tank urges London to forge align with Trump’s transactional foreign policy

First on the fox: While President Donald Trump is re-political policy on difficult deals and national interest, a new report warns that the United Kingdom should rethink its strategy to maintain its “private relationship”-or the risks that are marginalized in Washington.

Darren Spinck, a fellow of the Henry Jackson Association, warns that there will be no “work as usual” during the Trump era and that the “special relationship” between the United States and the United Kingdom could no longer be considered a matter of it. To remain a major ally, SPINCK argues in a new report, Britain must adopt Trump’s “transactions” approach to foreign policy.

The report also urges the UK Labor Party leadership to “reduce commercial dependence on the People’s Republic of China rather than deepen it”, warning that close economic relations with Beijing may strive relations between the United States of America under Trump.

Splink varies with the Trump administration’s focus on “dualism, economic nationalism, Indian and Pacific security” with the preference of the Starmer government for “multilateral diplomacy, progressive commercial policies, and European security obligations.”

“This political gap threatens the impermissible cohesion, and its collective ability to act against joint opponents, especially China, was weakened.”

Spinck also urged the United Kingdom to join the United States in appointing the Iranian Islamic Guard Corps as a terrorist organization.
