Timothy Busfield Reportedly ‘Devastated’ By Child Abuse Allegations

He explained that the controversy arose after the twins were not recast for the final season of the show, which, he claimed, led to their mother’s anger.

According to Stein, the decision was made by the showrunner, not by Busfield, and the family’s frustration was later directed at his client.

Court documents also revealed that Busfield told authorities that the mother may have acted out of revenge after her sons were replaced by a younger actor.
