Rangers catcher opens up about 7-year stint with Yankees

Kyle Higashioka, the mask in Texas Rangers recently, returned to the Yanki Stadium for a match against his former team, New York Yanxiz. Higashioka appeared for the first time in MLB with Yankees in 2017 and stayed with the club during the 2023 season.

In December 2023, it was traded to San Diego Padres. After spending a year in San Diego, he signed a two -year contract with the Texas Rangers team.

To honor the former mask, Yankees played a greeting video at the Yankee Jumbotron stadium during the opening match of the three -games series against Rangers. The clip was distinguished by several moments of Kyle Highshioka in Pinstripes and ended with the illustration:

“Welcome again, Kyle Highshioka.”

Before the match on Tuesday night, his hearty thoughts about his time in New York:

“Being really special. I feel very proud because I was part of this organization for many years. Fans were really good for me. I liked to play in front of them.”

Yanxiz performed a strong performance in the Tuesday match, where Rangers defeated 5-2. Bronx Bombers took the initiative in the second half with 376 -foot Ben Rice’s house. Rice again contributed to the fourth half, and hit the sacrifice fly that allowed Harun’s judge to register.

In the sixth, Anthony Volp extended to 3-0 with a double RBI. Aaron Jadj added two other halves of the eighth with a 326 -foot home operation.

Rangers was held without goals during the first eight roles and managed to score only at nine, when Juna Heim Homer was hit.

Kyle Higashiona has been reflected in his time with Yanxiz since his formulation in 2008

In the seventh round of the 2008 MLB draft of 2008, New York Yanxiz Kyle Higashioca chose the MLB draft.

Higashioka said in 2023 (via MLB):

“When I sit and take a look at that, it was a somewhat special journey, especially for the relationships that I built here in this institution and all my teammates over the years. In fact, many teammates who were in minors were now coaches in the organization. It is very funny, but yes, it is very crazy. But I feel that I still feel a lot within me.

Yankees Texas Rangers is scheduled to face again on Wednesday in the second match of the three -games series.
