Trump admin may not revoke temporary legal status of migrants: judge

The Trump Administration Judge prevented the abolition of the temporary legal status of hundreds of thousands of Nicaragua, Venezuelan, Cuban, and Haitians who initially granted conditional release.

The American boycott judge, Indira Talwani, said on Thursday that the Ministry of Internal Security read the law incorrectly when it made a decision to end the conditional release for two years granted by the Biden administration.

Talwani, who was appointed by former President Barack Obama, said that canceling the temporary legal status will open about 450,000 individuals for an urgent deportation.

“What gives priority is not the people who come on the border, but the people who followed the rules,” Talwani said.

The lawyer for the Ministry of Justice, Brian Ward, argued during a session on Thursday that the conditional release programs were always appreciated.

Talwani said, according to Time Magazine: “The problem of the problem here is that the secretary, when cutting the conditional period of the condition granted to these individuals, must have a logical decision.” “There was a deal and now the deal was undermined.”

The invitation groups initially filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration for its plan to end the conditional release program that started under the Biden administration.

The Trump administration tried to cancel the temporary legal status of migrants from the four countries on March 25.

They flew to the United States after submitting their request under a policy during the Biden era that Trump closed when he took office for the second time.

The program allows migrants and their direct family to fly to the United States as long as they have sponsors in America, then they will be placed on the conditional release for two years.
