Trump admin shares border plans for 2025 and beyond: ‘As much wall as we need’

Trump administration officials have told Fox 85 miles from the new border wall, which is expected to rise this year by hundreds of miles in 2026 and beyond.

“Our absolute intention is to build the largest number of wall and we also need to control the border,” says Michael Banks, head of the border patrol. He recently boasted about “Back in Business” with pictures of one project along Rio Grande in Texas.

Over the past week, Fox monitored the work sets that connect the gaps in the current wall line east of Yuma, Areez, and in a rugged area of Saint Diego known locally as “Gulch’s Gulch”.

“The operational control is what we are trying to achieve,” said Jeffrey Stalker, head of the Border Patrol Sector in San Diego on Tuesday. “We are trying to discover anyone and everything across the border illegally. For circumstantial awareness of 100 percent about what is going on in our field of responsibility.”

Other planned projects for this year include Jacumba, California, where, during the Biden Administration, thousands of immigrants – many of China – were seen crossing the rugged scene to demand asylum. Most of them were released in the country to wait for more procedures. This site and many others along the border have become much more calm than it was in recent years.

In October, the average San Diego sector reached 451 illegal crossings every day. In March, during the era of President Trump, this daily number decreased to 39.

“If you have laws that are not imposed, or if you have a administration like the Biden administration refuses to allow the limits to actually enforce the law and provide a result, the walls themselves do not work,” Banks told Fox. “We put the borders under the control of it more than ever, but the goal is to operate control, and we will not resign until we get there.”

On that front, the banks want to expand the use of big ban buans in the middle of Rio Grande and its back with the walls on the coastal line. It is a multi -layer security area located in other areas of the border. “What you will have is a two -level system,” says Banks.

“Therefore, you will have the river buoys systems in Texas. If you are going to succeed these buoys and make them to the beach, you still have the actual border system.”

Finally, border patrol officials want to add up to approximately 1,000 miles of additional barriers in the coming years – if congress provides funding. Senator Katy Brett (R-AA) has submitted a draft law in January allocated $ 25 billion for this.

Meanwhile, the crews continue to bridge the gaps like those in Smuggler’s Gulch.

“We will arrest every person who crosses and realizes what is going on in the field of our responsibility,” said Stalker, as a jarghah behind him to reach the next wall board to go to the ground.
