The Trump administration deportes 120 Iranians, some of whom illegally entered the country, after the United States and Bran reached a deal, according to reports.

Iranian officials told the New York Times that the son -in -law of immigrants took off from Louisiana on Monday evening and is expected to arrive in Iran via Qatar at some time on Tuesday. According to what was reported, an American official confirmed the plan for the port.

This is clear that this is the first step in a larger plan to deport about 400 Iranian citizens, according to Reuters.

The Trump official reports 2 million illegal people “removed or reported” from the United States in the first eight months.

The deal is a rare example of cooperation between Tehran and Washington, which has witnessed increasing tensions in the wake of this summer’s strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities. Iranian officials told the Times that the deportation deal came after months of discussions between the two countries.

While Washington and Tehran hardly work together, the arrangement is compatible with President Donald Trump’s broader campaign on illegal immigration. Earlier this year, the administration deported immigrants from several countries, including Iran, to Panama under a separate agreement, according to reports.

In the first step, they decided to deport 120 Iranians who entered the United States illegally, most of them via Mexico, “according to Reuters, which described the Iranian port as semi -financial.

The identities of Iranian deportees are unknown, but the Times stated that the group included men and women, some of them husbands. The perpetrator also indicated, quoting Iranian officials, that some of the deportees volunteered to leave the United States after spending time in detention centers, while not others were voluntarily.

Iranian officials also told the Times that in almost every case, the deportees were either asylum requests who had refused or did not appear before a judge to a hearing on their requests.

“We have urged the US government to respect the rights of Iranian immigrants and citizenship rights under international law,” Noshabadi told Tasnim News Agency.

Another official told the news agency that the individuals who were deported had left Iran legally, but how they entered the United States “another issue.” However, the official insisted that their return “does not face any obstacle, because Iran will always support its citizens.”
