Trump calls BLS job numbers a ‘scam’ after firing Erika McEntarfer

On Sunday, president Trump accused the head of the Bls Statistics Office of inflating job numbers to “the highest level ever” before the US presidential elections, just days after the announcement of the shooting.

Bls mentioned on Friday 74,000 jobs were added in JulyMuch less than the estimates of 110,000 economists covered by LSEG. The report also reviewed job growth in May and June down. May gains were reduced by only 125,000 to 19,000 jobs created, while June numbers were reviewed by 133,000 to 14,000 jobs only in that month.
