Trump confirms US-Ukraine deal on minerals to happen soon

President Donald Trump said on Thursday that the 80 -page metal deal will be signed with Ukraine in one week.

While Trump announced during a press event from the Oval Office alongside Prime Minister Italy, Georgia Meloni, that the deal will be signed next Thursday, Treasury Secretary Scott Payette later modified that it is likely to be signed on April 26.

The details of the agreement are still relatively unknown, although the recent reports conducted by Bloomberg have indicated that the United States has retracted its demands to help it in the Battle of Ukraine against Russia from 300 billion dollars to $ 100 billion.

What we know about the United States deal with Ukraine metal so far

The United States says Zelinski agreed to sign a metal deal: “We’ll see if it follows.”

Zelenskyy said on Wednesday that a memorandum of understanding can be signed at any moment, which is a decisive step to sign the official metal deal.

Trump, when pressed by correspondents, had little information about who would sign the deal or where the signature could occur, although previous reports have suggested that Zelenskyy or Trump did not actually sign the deal.

The agreement is likely to be signed by Deputy Prime Minister Ukraine and Minister of Economy Yulia Sfridinko, as well as bessent.
