Trump dismayed by MAGA’s obsession with ‘a guy who never dies, Jeffrey Epstein’

With his supporters due to the failure of the Ministry of Justice to release significant records of Jeffrey Epstein’s investigation of sex trafficking, President Donald Trump’s strategy was to reduce this issue.

His problem? Nothing nothing can be seen. It does not work for those who have learned from him that they should not surrender until the deeper secrets and rulings are revealed.

Last week, the Ministry of Justice and the Federal Investigation Office suddenly followed the idea that there is an EPSTEIN’s list of elites who participated in the wealthy trafficking in New York with underage girls. Trump soon defended the Prosecutor Pam Bondi and underestimated a correspondent of the boldness of the question about the documents.

The reaction on the Internet was quickly, as the followers summoned the Republican President “outside the touch” and demanded transparency.

On Saturday, Trump used the social truth platform to try to summon supporters from the Epstein path, amid reports of fighting between Bondi and the deputy director of the FBI Dan Bongino on this case. He suggested that the disturbances undermine his administration – “all over a man who has never died, Jeffrey Epstein.”

This did not do much to calm Trump’s supporters, who urged him to launch files or risk losing his base. One of the followers at least responded to the Trump center by saying that it seemed as if the president was just trying to make the case disappear – but he assured him.

The political crisis is particularly difficult for Trump because it is one of its creation. The President has spent years fueling dark theories and embraces the propaganda of a law that he casts as the only savior who can demolish the “deep state”.

Now that the federal government is running, the society that helped build it returns to chase it. It requires answers that are unable to provide or do not want to provide it.

“The defective assumption of Trump and others is that they can collect conspiracy theories without any reaction,” said Matt Dalik, a political scientist at George Washington University. “The Epstein box is an elegant packaging that is difficult to return the genie to the bottle.”

A problem that does not disappear

Last week’s statement, consisting of two pages of the Ministry of Justice and the Federal Investigation Office, they said that they concluded that Epstein did not possess a list of clients from Trump supporters, who referred to previous data from many administration officials that the list should be revealed.

Bondi had suggested in February that such a document was sitting on her office awaiting the review, although she said last week that she was generally referring to the Epstein box file and not a specific customer list.

Conservative influencers have since called for seeing all the files related to Epstein’s crimes, even when Trump tried to put the case in bed.

“Until we go completely January 6, the Jeffrey Epstein files.”

The Trump job at the weekend has sought to turn attention by inviting supporters to focus instead on the investigation of Democrats and the turnout of criminals instead of “spending a month after a month in looking at the same old documents inspired by Jeffrey Epstein.” The first national security adviser, retired General Michael Flynn, consulted him of reviewing it.

“Realdonaldtrump, please understand that the Ibstein case will not disappear,” he wrote that the failure to address Epstein’s unanswered questions will make facing other national challenges “much more difficult.”

The other Trump’s allies continue to pressure for answers, among them the right -wing extremist activist Laura Lummer, who called for the resignation of Bondi. On Sunday, the newsletter at Politico Playbook told Politico Playbook that a special advisor should be appointed to investigate the files on Epstein, who was found dead in his federal cell in prison in 2019 about a month after his arrest.

Experts who study conspiracy theories warned that more sunlight does not necessarily disappear with long -standing narratives.

“For part of this group of believers of conspiracy theory, there will be no extent of contradictory evidence at all,” said Josephine Lukito, who studies conspiracy theorists at the University of Texas in Austin.

Trump and his colleagues put their own trap

The president and many personalities in his administration – including Bondi, Bongino and FBI director Cash Patel – have received political capital over the years by encouraging the theories of fatty plot over a set of topics, from elections to vaccines.

Now, they are charged with trying to reveal the evidence they have insisted on – a challenge that has been reached throughout the government.

Last week, Environmental Protection Agency official Lee Zeladen posted what seemed to support the notorious conspiracy theory that the immortals left by planes launch chemicals for possible reasons. But the second publication of Zealin emphasized the exact line that the Trump administration is trying to walk by linking to a new page on the EPA website, which mainly exposed the theory.

Rasel Miiraid, who studies political science at Dartmouth College, said that the value of conspiracy manufacturing is that it helps people to obtain political power. He said that Trump took advantage of this “more than more likely than anyone in American history.”

He said that the Ibstein case brings unique challenges. This is because it is really rooted: a rich and well -continued financing spent years of assaulting large numbers of young girls while escaping from justice.

As a result, Trump needs to progress and transparently on this topic. If he does not, “large slices of his most enthusiastic and confident supporters will lose.”

A distraction is likely to be expensive

While the right anger dominates Epstein on political conversation, Democrats and other Trump competitors benefited.

Many Democratic legislators have called for all Epsin files, and they suggested that Trump had resisted because or a person close to him appears in it. The conservatives expressed his concerns that Trump’s approach to Epstein might hurt them in the middle of the period.

“In order for this to disappear, you will lose 10 % of the Maga movement.”

There is also a judgment challenge.

Bondi and Bongjino were tense exchange last week at the White House about a story about Epstein, according to a person familiar with a matter that spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss a private conversation.

Lomer, close to Trump, said on Friday that she was told Bongino “is seriously considering resigning.” Bongino appeared at work on Monday, according to a person familiar with a matter that insisted on not revealing his identity to discuss employee issues. The FBI refused to comment.

Patel also moved to social media on Friday to reject what he called “conspiracy theories” that he himself would leave the administration.

Dalik, Professor of George Washington University, said it is worrying that senior law enforcement officials in the country are afraid of conspiracy theory.

He said: “It is possible at some point that voters notice the things they want or expect the government to do because the responsible people are either incompetent or outside the chasing of rabbits.” “Who fulfills the task of the FBI to protect the American people?”
