Trump heads to Capitol Hill to push Republicans on tax cut bill

President Donald Trump is heading to Capitol Hill on Tuesday to push the Republicans to pass his “beautiful big bill.”

Trump’s visit comes at a time when Republicans in the House of Representatives are divided between hawks who want to reduce more deficit and moderate who are looking for extensive tax discounts for Americans. Trump himself paid tax cuts in a statement on Monday.

“If we do not get it, this means that the Democrats will stop us. This means that people will get a 68 % tax increase, and the largest in history. If we get it, we will get the largest tax decline in history,” Trump said.

The House of Representatives’s rules committee is scheduled to vote on the draft law after midnight, immediately after the House of Representatives budget committee approved the draft law earlier this week.
