president Donald Trump She praised billions of dollars in the efforts of the border security and migration listed in the so-called “the big and beautiful draft law” that it signed in the law last week-although it suggested on Tuesday that the administration may not need to spend a lot on the enforcement efforts there as it was previously believed.

Speaking to the White House journalists on Tuesday afternoon, Trump described billions of dollars approved in the Republican -led spending package, including billions in financing the turbide to the hard -line immigration campaign that he gave his administration during the second White House term.

Among other things, the law includes $ 45 billion to build new immigration detention centers, and approximately $ 30 billion in spending to finance migration and customs enforcement (ICE) – including new spending on transportation, in order to maintain ice facilities and support employment of an estimated 10,000 additional arrangement officers.

Trump told correspondents on Tuesday that his administration border campaign could allow them to increase spending on the border, with a repetition of a previous claim that “zero” entered immigrants in the United States last month.

Description of spending on border security, although he indicated, “I don’t think we will need a lot of it [there]He said, because we had no zero last month, “in a clear reference to the border crossings.

“So I am not sure how much we want to spend.”

“You may think about it,” he said. “You may actually think about saving a lot of money because the wall has been largely built, and it is clear that it has succeeded.”

Since he took office in January, Trump has adopted an aggressive agenda of migration, which gave priority to border security efforts, expanding the scale of ice raids on a large scale, quickly deporting some migrants, and trying to end citizenship protection in the field of newborns for immigrants born in the United States through the executive system, among other things.

In the promotion of “zero” border crossings, Trump appears to refer to a report on June 17 of the American Border Customs and Protection (CBP).

This report is the latest data available to the audience provided by the Federal Agency, which it said has issued zero illegal immigrants in the United States over the past 30 days. This is a blatant decrease from the Biden administration, and the previous month.

CBP said that the number of border meetings also decreased, as US border patrol officials reported only 8,725 meetings with illegal immigrants trying to enter the United States in May, compared to 117,905 of these meetings in May 2024 under Biden management.

Trump immediately did not explain more details about the enforcement efforts funded by the Republican spending bill. But he used the moment to spoil the Biden and Democrats administration for what he criticized as lenient border policies – which suggested on Tuesday that other countries sought to exploit it under his previous home in the White House.

“It has not been completely verified,” Biden said on Tuesday.

“The whole world has been thrown in our country of prisons, from gangs, from mental institutions,” Trump claimed. It was not immediately clear that the country or asylum that Trump was referring to, and did not explain more.

“We have a lot of people walking in the streets, and walking in areas where we do not know anything about that who came out of the crazy asylum,” he said.

By the way, Trump said it was an amazing job that you and Tom Human are doing, by the way.

“But, we have to get them out, and we have no choice. We take them out.”
