“Strict attack”
On Wednesday, the Trump administration intensified the Crusade against the International Criminal Court (ICC) by imposing sanctions on four officials, including two prosecutors and two judges.
The new US sanctions are promoted to the expansion of the Trump administration campaign against the Hague -based court, which is the first world war crimes court in the world.
In announcing the sanctions, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed what it described as “the excesses” of the International Criminal Court against the United States and Israel, citing the previous investigation into the court in members of the United States in Afghanistan and its decision to issue arrest orders for senior Israeli officials.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on Wednesday that the International Criminal Court “still ignores national sovereignty and facilitate Sharia through efforts to investigate and arrest American and Israeli citizens,” said US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Wednesday. “We will continue to hold those responsible for the moral procedures morally and the International Criminal Court against the Americans and the Israelis.”
The four target individuals are not the first ICC to face US sanctions since Trump’s return to his post. Earlier this year, the United States also held court prosecutors and four other judges, freezing any of their American origins and banning them from entering the United States.
American beef, Donald Trump, extends with the unpredictable court to his first term in his post. During Trump’s first presidency, the International Criminal Court launched an investigation into the alleged war crimes committed by American forces and intelligence officers in Afghanistan – which led to Trump’s distinction and a first round of US sanctions.
The recent international criminal court actions against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu added more fuel to the fire. Last year, the court issued arrest warrants for Israeli officials and senior enthusiasm – including Netanyahu – which indicates war crimes and alleged crimes against humanity. For his part, Netanyahu called “ridiculous and false” allegations.
Since the United States or Israel has ratified the 2002 Rome law, which supports the International Criminal Court, the Trump administration accused the court of attempting to violate American sovereignty. But both Afghanistan and the Palestinian provinces are a party to the Rome Law, which the International Criminal Court says it allows them to investigate alleged crimes within their borders.
The International Criminal Court condemned the latest penalties, describing them “a strict attack against the independence of a neutral judicial institution.”
“The United Nations human rights leader should stop on Thursday:” The intensification of American revenge against international institutions and their employees must stop. “The sanctions against judges and prosecutors at national, regional or international levels, in order to fulfill their mandate according to international law standards, is an attack on the rule of law and performs justice.”

What we are following
Tightening fist. Chinese President Xi Jinping made a rare trip to Tibet this week to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of the disputed Tibet as an independent Chinese region. The two -day journey was designed to tighten Beijing’s grip in a pivotal moment: the fourteenth Dalai Lama, the Buddhist and spiritual leader in Tibet, reached 90 recently and confirmed that he would have a successor “according to traditions.” This way will be paved to fight the caliphate with Beijing, who argues that China alone can choose the next Buddhist leader.
In Lhasa, Xi told the officials that Tibetan Buddhism should be specially designed for the socialist system in China and said that the pipe should use more Chinese standards. “Tibetan affairs are the internal affairs in China, and no external forces are allowed to intervene,” declared the prominent Chinese Communist Party leader Wang Haning to a crowd in Lhasa. “All plans to divide the motherland and undermine stability in Tibet are doomed to failure.”
New commercial conditions. About one month after the United States and the European Union announced the conclusion of a commercial deal, the accurate conditions of the agreement appear. In July, both parties agreed that the European Union will face a 15 % tariff rate, and at least $ 600 billion in investments are committed, and achieves $ 750 billion of US energy purchases.
On Thursday, after further negotiations, US and European officials announced more details. For example, the tariff in the drug sector in Europe will not exceed 15 percent or add to another tariff at the European Union level. Once Brussels provides legislation to reduce the industrial definition rate, a 15 percent tariff for European car and car parts associated with the United States will also start.
“This is the most suitable commercial deal that the United States has provided to any partner,” Maros Civkovic told European Union Trade Commissioner Marus Sivkovic on Thursday. “A wide range of sectors – including strategic industries, such as cars, medicines, semi -conductors, and wood – will benefit from this cover.”
Search for a shelter. On Wednesday, Guatemala released a temporary humanitarian position for 161 people who are fleeing organized crime and cardiac violence in Mexico. Of the 161 Mexicans, 39 families and 69 children, according to the Guatemallan Migration Institute, will be accommodated in rented homes, temporary shelters, or by relatives. Guatemala has always been a destination for Mexicans looking for a shelter and safety abroad; Last July, approximately 600 Mexicons fled their homeland to Guatemala.
Some Mexican officials rejected the idea that these individuals flee the country as a result of the crime. In a publication on X, Eduardo Ramirez, the governor of the Mexican border state, has claimed without evidence that 161 Mexicans are linked to detained individuals who face criminal charges.
Ramirez wrote: “The organized crime operating in the neighboring country of Guatemala wants to distort our public safety strategy that gave calm and social peace in Chiabas.” “I categorically deny this fact.”
Difficulties end
During the Trump Putin Summit that I saw last week in Anchorage, Russia brought Alaska’s unusual gift: Uraal motorcycle worth $ 22,000. Mark Warren, a retired firefighting inspector, was running the tasks on his bike in Ural earlier in August when a Russian television crew faced. After Warren participated how difficult it was to buy new parts, he became a viral interview in Russia-and later taught that he would soon get a completely new bike. The news baffles Warren, who I think may be a fraud. He said: “I have dropped my jaw.” “I went,” You have to kill me. “But they were serious – as long as he agreed to a photo, interview and documentation of a photographer on his first trip.
