president Donald Trump criticized the anti -ice demonstrators in Los Angeles, whom he described as “animals”, to carry the flags of other countries and burn the American flag amid their efforts to protest against federal deportations.
Trump also put forward the potential for criminal penalties, specifically the prison sentence for a year, due to the burning of the American flag, during comments in Fort Prague on Tuesday afternoon to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the US Army.
“These are animals, but they are proudly carrying flags of other countries. They do not carry the American flag. They only burn them. Have you seen many flags burning?” Trump asked a crowd of members of the service and the old warriors and their families.
Trump says that “lack of respect” towards the National Guard of Los Angeles will not be tolerated with him: “If they spit, we will strike.”
“They have not been burned by people from our country, or from people who love our country. People who burn the American flag must go to prison for one year,” Trump continued. “We’ll see if we can do this. We’ll try to do so. We are working with some members of the Senate.”

The appearance of the President in Fort Prague comes amid a controversy over his deployment of more than 4000 National Guard soldiers and 700 US Navy Los Angeles in response to violent immigration protests. Critics, including the governor of California Democratic state, argue that publishing represents a mitigation of the federal authority.
Trump repeated his position on the possible imprisonment time for those who burn American flags during an interview on a new podcast hosted by the New York Post Miranda Defin, which first appeared on Monday.
“I think I think if you burn the American flag – because they were burning many flags in Los Angeles – I think you are going to prison for one year.” “Just automatically.”

In addition to potential criminal penalties for rioters, Trump suggested that he may try to follow the news of the ruler for its interference in immigration and customs enforcement operations (ICE) in Los Angeles. Newsom filed a lawsuit on Monday against the Trump administration, claiming that the president violated the tenth amendment rights in California by calling a law that enabled federal control over the National Guard.
“Come after me. I arrest me,” said news. “Let’s just ignore it, a strong man.”
During President Prague’s comments, Trump also indicated that his administration is looking at who may “finance” the protests, saying, “We will discover through Bam Bondi and the Ministry of Justice who is.”
