president Donald Trump On Sunday, he would send the National Guard to Baltimore to “quickly clean the crime” if the governor of Maryland Wes Moore said he needs help.

Moore earlier called on Trump to attend a public safety picnic in the crime city in September, saying in a message on August 21 that the event will provide an opportunity to “discuss strategies for effective public safety policy.”

Earlier this month, the Trump administration put forward a plan aimed at making Washington, “safer and more beautiful” as its administration doubles efforts to confront crime and the growing population in the country’s capital.

On Friday, Trump said he was considering sending the National Guard to Chicago, describing the city of Windy as “chaos.”

Trump said that his administration “will likely correct it next,” adding that “it will not be difficult.” The White House did not provide additional details about a possible deployment of the forces to Chicago.
