Trump signs executive order on extracting minerals from seabed

President Donald Trump has signed an executive order to help enhance, facilitate exploring, extracting and treating minerals from the sea floor.
The resources describe the key to American interests.
“The United States is facing unprecedented challenges in economic and national security in securing reliable supplies of critical minerals independently from controlling foreign opponent. The vast charming areas at the sea floor retain critical minerals and energy resources. These resources are the key to strengthening our economy, securing our energy future, and reducing dependence on foreign suppliers of critical minerals,“ the United States.

“Through the practice of current authorities and the creation of international partnerships, our nation can reach vast resources in the nodules of the sea floor, geological structures under the sea, coastal deposits that contain strategic minerals such as nickel, cobalt, copper, Meghans, Titianum, and rare ground elements, which are vital for national security,”.
It calls for expediting the processes of reviewing and granting permits and contracts.
It calls for engaging “with the main and allied partners to provide support for exploration of mineral resources at the sea floor, extraction, treatment, and environmental monitoring in the regions within the national judicial states of these partners and allies, including through the request for scientific cooperation and opportunities for commercial development of United States companies, and by developing a list of priority countries.”
It also calls for a plan to draw a map of the main parts of the sea floor.
