Trump swears in special envoy to the Middle East, talks hostages, Iran and Houthis

president Donald Trump’s new envoy to the Middle East was sworn in by Foreign Minister Marco Rubio on Tuesday at an oval office.
During his speech before the constitutional oath, Trump and Witkeov, who had an effective role in securing a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas and the return of 33 hostages, including two Americans, who were detained by Hamas.
Trump said that Witkoff “was with me, more or less, in one way or another, every step on the road,” adding that “absolute confidence, support and confidence” in the ability of his envoy in the Middle East to secure major deals in the world of foreign diplomacy, such as the ceasefire between Israel, Hamas and Ocreen and Russia.
Although Witkoff is a real estate businessman by trade, Trump said he “established himself quickly as one of the most difficult, smarter and best negotiating in this field,” which is why he chose him for the important role for the special envoy to the Middle East.

“As a businessman, he admired and respected him, and now Steve is putting his talents to work for America’s special envoy to the United States and achieves a lot of progress. Our blessed country is that the president has a negotiating of this skill and experience that is transferred to the painting in a non -selfish way, and puts himself forward all the time.”
Trump noticed that there is a somewhat educational curve for Witkoff when it comes to foreign government relations, but he said he “discovered” at a thunderbolt pace.
“It takes about an hour to find out,” Trump said. “After that, it’s brutal. He is doing a great job.”

Trump indicated that Witkeov has already been active in the past few months, as he met with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Iranian leaders.
“It works tirelessly to end the bloody and destructive conflicts,” Trump said, telling and so far in negotiations with various world leaders.
After the ceremony, Trump took questions from the correspondents, dealing with a set of topics, including the firing ceasefire between the United States and Fath. When asked about the conflicting reports indicating that the Houthis are not planning to stop attacking Israel, Trump said that the alternatives of the terrorist group indicate “great strength” [the United States]”
Trump also asked questions about the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas in Gaza, in particular, about the launch of the 21st hostile hostages.
“This is a terrible position. We are trying to get the hostages,” Trump told reporters.
Trump’s special envoy on Putin’s continental aspirations: “I do not see that he wants to take all of Europe.”
He shared that two weeks before the spouses whose son died when he came to him as a hostage and said: “Please, sir, my son has died. Please prepare his body.”
“They wanted his body,” Trump of the Oval Office said. “They know. He said they want his body as much as the boy wants if he is alive. It is very sad.”

Trump also commented on Iran and his potential nuclear weapons. The president categorically said that “they will not have a nuclear weapon.”
“This is really the right time. I would like to tell you, for Iran and their country, this is a very important time for Iran. This is the most important time in Iran’s history of Iran, and I hope they will do what is right,” Trump told reporters.
