Trump takes swipe at Biden, says US will support Somalia against Houthis

President Donald Trump issued a strict warning to the Houthis by saying that it was time to hide now after he removed the “dangerous red tape” from the Biden administration, allowing American forces to protect Somalia from terrorists.
“It is time to hide the terrorists, but this will not fulfill anything.” Trump wrote in a position on the social truth.
The president added: “We will support the Somali people, which should not allow the Houthis to include (they are trying to do!), Ending terrorism, and bringing prosperity to their country.”

For years, the United States helped Somali forces with air strikes and other support against the youth extremist and an Islamic state company, or ISIS.
Last month, Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mahmoud formulated a message to Trump, which is offering the United States exclusively to air and seaports, which sparked tensions between the Somalia government and a separatist area in Somaliland, according to Associated Press.
In the letter, Somalia offered “exclusive operational control” on the bases of Perbara, Bojel Air Ports and Posasu Ports “strengthening US participation in the region.”

The message was confirmed as an “authentic draft” by a senior official at the Somalia Foreign Ministry, who spoke to AP on the condition that his identity was not disclosed because it was not allowed to conduct press interviews.
