Trump targets Democrat agencies for cuts after funding bill fails

president Donald Trump said on Thursday that he is working to determine the “democratic agencies” that will face discounts after the failure of Democrats and Republicans to reach an agreement on a government financing package.

Trump has published on his social platform that he was meeting with Russell Fion, director of the American Administration and Budget Office, later on Thursday to discuss agencies “is a political fraud.” The president said he wanted to recommend agencies that must face discounts and whether these cuts must be temporary or permanent.

“I cannot believe that the leftist extremist Democrats gave me this unprecedented opportunity,” read Trump’s publication. “They are not stupid people, so this may be the way to desire, calmly and quickly, making America great again!”

The federal government entered a partial closure on Wednesday after approving the deadline for midnight financing, as Democrats and Republicans failed to agree on a funding bill.

Trump has warned that the administration could make “irreversible” changes on the federal workforce, the most prominent of which is through a new wave of fresh workers’ demobilization. He emphasized that he and his allies do not want the government to close it, but it opened the door to some “good” that he could come from.

On Wednesday, Vice President JD Vance accused the Democrats of forcing the closure to supply illegal immigrants with health care in emergencies funded by taxpayers, and Chuck Shomer, Den.

White House press secretary Caroline Levit also claimed that the Democrats had designed the closure to force the taxpayers to finance health care for immigrants who are not documented given a debt of $ 37 trillion.

“To put all this in its right perspective, Democrats refused to keep the government open to health care for illegal foreigners and now they have been subjected to critical health care programs at risk to American citizens,” she said. “Instead, the women’s, infants and children program, financing the health center of society, medical care treatment options and other health programs are all at risk because of the refusal of the CR and CR refusal [continuing resolution].
