Trump teases running for a third term: ‘Not joking’

President Donald Trump disturbed that he might run for a third period, explaining to NBC News that he is enjoying the work and that he “does not joked” about another operation of the Oval Office.

“Many people want me to do it,” Trump told NBC News in an interview on Sunday. “However, I mean, I mainly tell them that we have a long way, as you know, it is very early in management.”

Currently, he “focuses on the current term”, but he told the port that he “does not joked” about a third term.

“It is too early to think about it,” he added.

The twenty -second amendment of the constitution, which was ratified in 1951, is prohibited from serving more than two periods as president. The amendment was ratified after President Franklin Dylano Roosevelt was elected as a four -time president.

Roosevelt died during his fourth term and Vice President Harry Truman assumed the presidency. FDR is the only president in the history of the country that has been elected and served more than two periods, due to the political and economic climate at home and abroad, while his presidency is revealed amid great depression and the beginning of World War II.
