NASA makes rocket scientists use an app to list accomplishments

NASA introduces the “weekly achievements of the agency’s workers” to track their productivity, a step towards compliance with one of the demands of Elon Musk government competence.
“Today, we will play for the first time a new tool for the” Five Things “request, saying the behavior of NASA director Janet Petro for employees in an email on Friday that Bloomberg News saw. “This inner safe tool makes it easy for you to track and share the amazing work you do every week.”
Musk, who is leading the Ministry of Governmental efficiency under president Donald Trump, surprised the agency’s heads last month when his team sent email messages to more than two million federal employees asking them to provide their weekly achievements via e -mail, or to face the loss of their jobs.
It was part of the billion billionaire approach to government reform – an initiative that planted uncertainty in NASA and abroad.
The move was widely reprimanded throughout the government, as some cabinet secretaries requested its employees to ignore the email, which raises fears that emails could affect national security or classified information. The White House also explained that the workers will not be separated if they did not respond and ordered them to follow the instructions of their heads of agents.
Federal workers have continued to receive weekly claims to submit their five lead points and instructions on how to contrast, or if, widely via agencies.
The application of the weekly achievements, as Petro described it, will simplify the reports and give workers a “record of running” for their contributions over time.
Email comes days after NASA closed two offices and the jobs were canceled to comply with Trump’s executive orders. Workers’ layoffs come at the time of uncertainty for NASA as it awaits the Trump candidate for the official, Jared Ishaqan, who spent an unknown amount of his money in Spacex, has provided its company, SHIFT4 payments, Musk Space for $ 27.5 million.
In her note to the Acting Civil Service employees, Petro added that she will continue to provide weekly achievements and activities for all agency staff to the US employee management office.
“This tool will provide a direct way to share your work as part of this process,” Petro said.
