Trump to lead DOGE mission as Musk and efficiency department advisors depart

A White House official confirmed to Fox News on Thursday that in addition to billionaire Elon Musk, many other employees and private government employees from the Ministry of Government (DOGE) leave.

Musk has been heading to Dog since President Donald Trump took office in January. The administration was assigned to reduce $ 2 trillion from the federal government budget through efforts to reduce spending, governmental and federal workforce programs.

Musk announced his departure from Doug late on Wednesday.

Along with Musk, Counselor Steve Davis, Counselor and spokesperson for Katie Miller, and lawyer James Bornham leave their jobs inside Duji, a White House spokesman confirmed on Fox News.

With the departure of Musk, White House press secretary Caroline Levit told reporters on Thursday that Trump and cabinet members would now lead to Dog’s efforts.

Levitt said: “The leaders of Duji are every member of the Council of Ministers and the President himself, and he is committed to all sincerity to cut off waste, fraud and abuse from our government.”

“The entire cabinet is aware of the need to cut government waste, fraud and abuse,” she added. “Each Secretariat is committed to each cabinet in their agencies. For this reason they were working alongside Elon Musk. They will continue to work with their DOGE employees who have made political appointments in all these agencies.

“Certainly, Dog’s mission will continue, and many Doug employees are now appointed politicians and employees of our government.”

While Duj was assigned to reduce $ 2 trillion of budget, her efforts led to nearly $ 175 billion of savings due to asset sales, contracts cancellation, lower payments, and other ways to get rid of costs, according to an update on the Duj website.

The savings are translated into about $ 1087 in savings for each taxpayer, as the website notes.
