Trump Wants a Nobel Prize, but His ‘Peace Deals’ Are False Wins

Since then, many members of congress and foreign officials have echoed the proposal by adding his name to the next group of holders. But what is the registration offers? Does Trump deserve to be honored with a place in history alongside Martin Luther King Junior and Nelson Mandela?

Trump has repeatedly complained about his lack of credit for the peace deals reached under his watch, citing the resolution of conflicts in Armenia Azerbaijan, Congo Rwanda, India-Pakistan, Serbia Kosovo, and the ongoing efforts in Ukraine and Jazza as the best achievements. It is worrying that some of these alleged deals include provisions directly that directly benefit the private sector, which reduces American diplomacy to a set of wrong victory that only does little to pay peace. Before checking Trump’s peace deals, it is worth enjoying the context his public record since January on the issues of war and peace, and the Nobel Committee should review his candidacy.

First, Trump is walking quickly to make more air strikes in his presidency more than President Joe Biden did for four full years in his position. This historical rise indicates that its first instinct is not peace or removal of tensions, but resorting to violence first and dealing with the consequences later.

In June, the President joined the Israeli strikes against Iran, which seemed temporarily reduced the nuclear capabilities of Tfran, but it is likely to lead to a continuous conflict with Iran and agents. Far from making the United States safer, Trump’s attack left an unattractive option: hit and repeated Iranian facilities in the coming months and years, or risk waking up one day for nuclear armed Iran.

In September, the administration conducted three air strikes against Venezuelan ships, which were without evidence to smuggle drugs to the United States. The strikes were conducted without any basis in the law or legal procedures – which are likely to be a worker in the Nobel Committee, but not the way Trump hopes.

Moreover, the President recently identified the Ministry of Defense to rename the Ministry of War to amplify Minister Beit Higseth’s concentration on the “girl” as a strategy for national defense. It is difficult to imagine that these messages fall well with the Nobel Committee. The move comes months after the administration spread to the United States Peace Institute and the US Agency for International Development, and two of the Conceptions Centers of American Peace Building efforts, and funding for peacekeeping operations was reduced at the United Nations. At the same time, Trump threatened military action against Panama, Greenland and Mexico.

Now, let’s examine the cases he cited in his campaign in Nobel.

In the Nagorno Karabakh region, decades of conflict in the war erupted again in 2020, leaving thousands of deaths and up to 100,000 Armenians. Trump symbolizes the White House party with the Armenian leaders and Azerbaijanis in August as a historical achievement of peace, but the deal left the basic issues without a solution. It does not guarantee that the displaced Armenians are a safe return, as it leaves mysterious security provisions, and allows Baku to set the changing final dates that delay real reconciliation, among other issues. According to the deal, a transport road called “Trump Road for Peace and International Fluation” will be developed and managed by American companies.

The eastern region of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) has suffered from repeated violent sessions fueled by the Rwandan -backed M23 rebels, which led to mass exodus and atrocities. The “peace deal” in June did not stop Trump: the massacres, sexual violence and mass displacement intensified. Human rights officers say that the Trump deal lacks enforcement and accountability mechanisms, and they protect economic interests while civilians continue to suffer – according to M23, more than 140 civilians were killed in July alone. Away from ending the aggression, the deal only provides the United States to reach the minerals of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

India and Pakistan have fought multiple wars over the years and participated in repeated skirmishes on Kashmir, as the ceasefire often proven to be fragile. Trump has repeatedly claimed that he stopped the conflict between the two, but New Delhi explicitly denies any American mediation, and insisted that the ceasefire was bilaterally achieved across the military hot lines. With a single aspect publicly rejected the American participation and the main Kashmir conflict is still unlawful, making peace in Trump is not only exaggerated – it is clearly wrong. It will be difficult to fix the resulting rift between the United States and India.

In the Balkans, Kosovo’s independence of 2008 is still not recognized by Serbia, and nourishes years of stress and periodic violence. The Washington Agreement was guaranteed during the first period of Trump’s mandate directed to economic cooperation, not political recognition or reconciliation. Until then, most of its provisions remain unexpected. The conversations in which the European Union, not the United States, is presenting a possible place to progress.

Along the Thai borders, an extension of the disputed land has sparked repeated clashes since the early first decade of the twentieth century, which led to the death of soldiers and civilians on both sides. When the border clashes erupted again in July, Trump was credited immediately for a ceasefire-but the fighting soon resumed and installed the losses. The continuation of violence after Trump ads reveals his intervention to be more than the theater.

Likewise, Trump’s rejection of real pressure on Russia to negotiate has made life worse for the Ukrainians, who are still suffering from attacks from Moscow. She insisted that Ukraine “pay” the United States to help it in the form of a deal that gives Washington to jointly to the critical minerals in Ukraine – which indicates that for this administration, security takes a rear seat for profits.

Trump may be right: The Nobel Committee will not grant the Peace Prize to the President of the Ministry of War. But this will not prevent world leaders from nominating Trump as a way to seek his administration. This concerns American national security. If foreign leaders can easily and transparently manipulate our president, the American people lose. The dignity of our nation is suffering when our president deliberately reduces the position of American power and influencing the high endeavor of another piece of gold to display in his western wing.
