Trump Wants a Nobel Prize, but His ‘Peace Deals’ Are False Wins

Before checking Trump’s peace deals, it is worth enjoying the context his public record since January on the issues of war and peace, and the Nobel Committee should review his candidacy.
First, Trump is walking quickly to make more air strikes in his presidency more than President Joe Biden did for four full years in his position. The “peace deal” in June did not stop Trump: the massacres, sexual violence and mass displacement intensified. Human rights officers say that the Trump deal lacks enforcement and accountability mechanisms, and they protect economic interests while civilians continue to suffer – according to M23, more than 140 civilians were killed in July alone. It will be difficult to fix the resulting rift between the United States and India.
In the Balkans, Kosovo’s independence of 2008 is still not recognized by Serbia, and nourishes years of stress and periodic violence. The Washington Agreement was guaranteed during the first period of Trump’s mandate directed to economic cooperation, not political recognition or reconciliation. Until then, most of its provisions remain unexpected. The conversations in which the European Union, not the United States, is presenting a possible place to progress.
Along the Thai borders, an extension of the disputed land has sparked repeated clashes since the early first decade of the twentieth century, which led to the death of soldiers and civilians on both sides.
