Democrats’ poll numbers hit new lows as Trump seesdip in approval

President Donald Trump is suffering from some polling problems in his approval categories that have slipped into negative lands since they were re -introduced to the White House three and a half months ago. But it is far from alone when it comes to taking a political punch in public opinion.

The favorable classifications of the opposition Democratic Party in drowning continue to its lowest level.

Ken Martin, head of the National Democratic Committee, said at the end of last week in an interview “Fox News Sunday”, that the party’s focus at the present time “is to make sure that we are defending the diligent Americans who are behind this economy Trump.”

But it seems that many Americans do not believe that Democrats are at the level of the mission.

The underwater Democrats evaluated in the latest national poll of Fox News stood by 41 % and 56 % unsuccessful in a survey held April 18-21.

This is the lowest level ever for Democrats in the Fox News survey. For the first time in a decade, the party’s position was less than the situation of the Republican Party, which reached 44 % favorable and 54 % unsuccessful.

The numbers were reversed last summer, when Fox News last asked the party’s preference for a survey.

Fox News poll is far from external.

The favorable classifications of the Democratic Party in negative lands were in a national survey of Pew Research – 38 % favorable, 60 % unsuccessful – conducted in early April and 36 % favorable, 60 % unsuccessful in the Wall Street Journal in this field two weeks ago.

The national opinion polls conducted in February by the University of Quinobak and March by CNN and NBC News also indicated the favorable classifications of the Democratic Party, which has ever drowned its lowest levels.

But there is more.

Confidence in the leadership of Congress in the Democratic Party sank to its lowest level ever, according to a poll conducted by Gallup at early last month.

The confidence classification of the leadership of Democrats in Congress was 25 % in the survey, which was less than nine points less than the previous level of 34 % in 2023.

The Harvard Harvard Youth Survey, which was issued late last month, indicated that the approval classifications for Democrats in Congress between Americans between the ages of 18 and 19.

Reception position: Trump stands 15 months in his second presidency

The ABC News/Washington Post/IPSOS survey, which was conducted in mid -April, said that more respondents trust Trump (40 %) of Democrats in Congress (32 %) to deal with the country’s main problems.

Reuters survey/Reuters, which was conducted late last month, suggested that the Republicans have a great advantage over Democrats in two most important issues: economics and immigration.

The Democratic Party was in the political wilderness since the setbacks of the November elections, when the Republicans won the control of the White House and the Senate and defended their fragile majority. Republicans have made gains between black and Latin voters as well as younger voters, all of whom are traditional members at the Democratic Party base.

Since Trump returns to power, an angry and vital democratic base has been increasingly pressing to take a stronger position against the president’s sweeping and controversial agenda during the opening months of his second administration.

“What we have seen during the past few months is some Democrats who take it upon themselves to address what was a bigger problem for the brand over the past decade and a half.”

It seems that anger is not only on Trump and the Republicans, but also in his Democratic colleagues as a party to vote problems, with a decrease in positivity towards Democrats in the Fox News poll, where he was a self -surgeon. The partisan preference between Democrats, which were self -identified, decreased 10 points from last summer (87 %) to last month (77 %) in the survey.

At the same time, the Republican Party witnessed a slight improvement among the party’s believers: 83 % of the self -identified Republicans had a favorable view in 2024 compared to 85 % in April.

“The high -ranking classification of the Republican Party is completely due to the fact that the Democrats feel more convenient towards their party than the Republicans towards them,” said Chris Anderson, who is running Fox News with Republicans, Darwin Show. “This is unlikely to translate in itself into a mid -term success of the Republican Party because the Democrats say they will vote almost globally for their party and independents prefer Democrats as well.”

The Fox News poll indicates that if the mid -term elections were held for 2026 today, 49 % of voters will support a general democratic in the Congress region, with 42 % support the public Republican candidate.
