‘RHOA’ Alum Reveals Prostate Cancer Diagnosis

Dwight announces the battle of cancer

In an exclusive interview with People, DWIGHT revealed that he knew for the first time his diagnosis earlier this year after routine blood works in a health exhibition hosted by his church. The PSA follow -up test confirmed that it was prostate cancer. The 64 -year -old admitted that he was “shocked” and “angry”, saying that the word alone left him “emotional wreck.” Reality TV star also mentioned that his grandfather had prostate cancer. However, Dwight participated that he did not think he was in danger because of the date next to his mother.

“When you hear the word cancer, you are frightening. I am a human being. Society told us that cancer was only destroyed, as you know, you have days to live in it. So, of course, I felt fear and I think I am still terrifying.”

Living with HIV since the 1980s, always kept regular medical examinations. However, the 2022 blood test that shows high levels of PSA was ignored by his doctor, a mistake and a frustrated Dwight. Now, he works with a team of medical professionals to develop a treatment plan. Moreover, Dwight raises awareness of the disease and partnership with Zero Prostate Cancer as a new brand ambassador.

After watching a close friend bearing a painful battle with prostate cancer just four years ago, it appears that Dwight is determined to avoid the same path. Rhoa Shab shared that he is not planning to remove the prostate and still weighs his options with his medical team.

“We are exploring the possibilities to know the path to which we should not go and we have not yet reached it,” he said.

With the support of a team of four doctors – including two urology, a specialist, and his family doctor – Diet says he feels support and is grateful to be in honest hands.
