Underwater scooters once sold at Costco are under recall notice

Breakers Spring Scotter may be used under water under the call notification through Costco.

“We have recently discovered a security problem in underwater scooter batteries between June 2018 and March 2024, which includes high temperature and igniting the battery package,” said a summons from Sublue on Friday.

“From an abundance of caution, we proactively launch a summons program to upgrade all affected users to a new generation of safer batteries, completely free,” continued the notification.

The California -based company says in California, that the Mixaw01, Mixab01 and MIXSB01 devices are affected by the summons. A picture on the notification shows in blue and white models.

Consumers who want to know if their model is affected and ask for a free alternative battery that can visit www.sublue.com/recalls. Those who called the products are required to stop using them immediately, and to submit a request to summon and return old batteries in the recycling package provided by Sublue.

The company will charge new batteries as soon as the old battery is received. Its customers remind not to throw old batteries in the trash, or use third -party batteries as alternatives to the underwater steam bike.
