President Donald Trump will participate in many foreign policy discussions next week at the NATO summit, where more than just Ukraine will be the focus of talks between foreign leaders.
A senior official in Trump told the Wall Street Journal on Sunday that the president still intends to attend the summit to be held in The Hague, starting on Wednesday. He will leave to the Netherlands on Tuesday and arrive late in the evening on the same day.
It is a slight change in the schedule from the date of the departed departure originally on Monday, according to previous reports.

Trump was expected to attend a government dinner among foreign leaders on Tuesday evening, but it was unclear whether he would continue to come because of the time for the late arrival. The White House did not respond to the Fox News Digital requests for additional information about the president’s schedule.
The change of the table comes after the president recently left the G7 Economic Summit in Canada to come to the continuous situation in the Middle East that rose on Saturday.

The summit between foreign leaders is likely to include talks on Trump’s recent decision to involve the United States in the Israeli campaign in the Middle East.
Ukrainian President Folodimir Zellinski is also expected to attend, as leaders are expected to discuss continuous assistance to Ukraine amid its ongoing war with Russia. However, the Ukraine crisis is not expected to be the main issue that raises anxiety, as global tensions in Iran are likely to take a large part of the top attention.
It is also expected that the leaders will discuss the suggestion of the Secretary General of NATO, Mark Retty, that every member country contributes to at least 5 % of their domestic output of defensive spending. Spain has rejected the idea, which was framing as Trump’s victory, while others have faced a problem with the speed of the transition to increase defense spending on NATO member.
