US judge agrees to delay dismissal of of MS-13 leader’s case

Veloro Santos’s lawyer, Mohamed Elsay, claimed during the April 15 session that the decision to reject the case came from a “rise” in the Trump administration, and argued if he was released, he is likely to be almost immediately deported to Sicot, the Salvadorian prison, which includes hundreds of American immigrants.
“They have already decided the result, and that he would go to the worst prison in the Western hemisphere.”
At the hearing, his lawyers also protested the case of the Kilmar Abugo Garcia, who was deported last month to El Salvador for being an alleged member of MS-13.

The updates follow a resolution from the Supreme Court from 5 to 4 that submit a restriction to the minimum court, which allowed the Trump administration to appeal the use of the law of foreign enemies – albeit with new protection from the ages of migrants.
The Supreme Court said that individuals close to deportation should have the opportunity to challenge their removal, with enough time to do this in an American court.
