US launches critical antimony mining operation to counter Chinese dominance

Exclusive: The Trump administration has helped launch the first American mine ever for critical minerals dominated by China, which controls about half of the global production, according to Fox News Digital.

IDaho will extract and activate Antimon – a metal that is a key to the American defense and technology sector – and reduces dependence on malicious actors such as CCP – which is currently produced from half of the shares in the world.

Antimony has countless national security uses-including military tools such as night vision glasses, explosives, flames, operation, laser, nuclear weapons production, military clothes and ammunition.

It also plays a role in non -bloody male arms race, as a component in semiconductors and infrared technology, as well as using it to increase alloys’ hardness such as lead and copper.
