USDA approves waivers for three states to ban junk food from SNAP

The Minister of Agriculture, Brock Rollins, signed exemptions with three states on Tuesday, allowing them to ban participants in the additional nutritional assistance program (SNAP) from purchasing unwanted food, such as Soda and Candy, through the social welfare program.
