Uzbekistan agrees to pay for and accept over 100 Central Asian illegal immigrants
First on the fox: Fox News has learned that a plane full of illegal immigrants in Central Asia is on its way from the United States to Uzbekistan without any cost to the Americans under a deal between the two governments.
More than 100 illegal immigrants return to Uzbekistan on Wednesday as part of the agreement, and is pushing Uzbekistan for the journey of legal deportation, the first agreement by a foreign government since President Donald Trump took office. The flight, which took off this morning, was 131 migrants on board.
People from Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan were on board the plane after the Uzbekistan government agreed to accept citizens from all three countries.
The deal, which the Trump administration says is a typical framework for how it wants to engage with the United States in immigration, is the result of months of diplomatic participation between officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, National Security Ministry officials, the White House and the National Security Council with their counterparts from Ozbikistan.

The Ministry of Internal Security said in a statement that the deal “emphasizes the deep security cooperation between our countries and sets a standard for the alliances of the United States.”
“We commend the President of Uzbekistan, Shafkat Mirzif, for his leadership in sending a trip to return 131 illegal foreigners to their homeland,” said the Minister of National Security, Christie Nom, in a statement. “We look forward to continuing to work with Uzbekistan on efforts to enhance our mutual security and support the rule of law.”
Uzbekistan, with more than 37 million people, is a security partner for the United States in Central Asia, located in the Iranian neighborhood, China and Afghanistan.

This arrangement is followed by a deal in which the Trump administration mediated after a confrontation with Colombia, which the state in South America agreed to accept its citizens, including those on military aircraft, after President Gustavo Petro originally refused two American military planes in Colombia carrying illegal immigrants.
This is also followed by an agreement with El Salvador, which President Nib Boucley agreed to receive not only his citizens, but those from Venezuela and perhaps other countries that will not return its citizens from the severe CICOT prison from the United States.

Immigrants and customs arrested 66,463 illegal immigrants and removed 65,682 of them.
The border meetings decreased to 11,363 on average daily in February and March, the first two full months in Trump, compared to an average of nearly 160,000 during the Biden administration.
