Virginia voters choose their Democrat nominee for attorney general

The Associated Press expected that Jones had won democratic extortion and will challenge the current Republican Prosecutor Jason Mayres in November.

The name of President Donald Trump did not appear at the top of the ticket during the preliminary elections in Virginia on Tuesday, but his comprehensive agenda in the second term won the upper status and below in the poll.

Mayaris, the first American of Spanish origin to be elected to the state level in Virginia and the first child of immigrants to carry the prosecutor, supports Trump’s agenda in Virginia – while the Democratic Public Prosecutor in all parts of the United States led the Trump’s executive authority.

Trump is not on polling, but the president affects

Jones and his competitor, Henriko Commonwealth Shannon Taylor, attempted to take advantage of the anger of the elementary voters from the Trump administration’s discounts to the federal government, including the massive demobilization operations through the Ministry of Governmental efficiency (Doug).

Jones, the former general assistant, determined the issue of his upper campaign as Virginia’s protection from the Trump administration.

“Donald Trump launches an unprecedented attack on Virginia societies, jobs, and even civil rights,” Jones included in a statement on his website.

Jones praised how the Prosecutor’s Prosecutor to Defense the Americans rise by prosecuting the Trump administration to open federal financing and rejected the executive transgression, “but here in Virginia, the extremist public prosecutor in Maga provided policy first and refused to join efforts to defend against unconstitutional and extremist policies.”

Public safety, reducing costs by holding companies, protecting civil and constitutional rights and maintaining the right to abortion from Jones’s additional promises to campaigns.

Taylor’s campaign focused on public safety, protection of abortion, reducing costs, preventing arms violence and building Virginia’s economy to support the middle class.

Taylor’s first announcement of the campaign included Trump’s photos to buy Tesla in the White House and Eileon Musk bearing a saw at the Conservative Political Labor Conference (CPAC).

Taylor said: “I am nominating the Attorney General to strike Trump and Musk,” said Taylor.

Virginia elections will be used by political critics and politicians as a jar in the expected competitive renewal elections in 2026. It is an early opportunity to measure how Americans respond to Trump II, and see how they can vote next year when the majority in congress is at stake.

Virginia is one of the ruling elections in the United States this year, along with New Jersey, whose main elections held last week.

Republicans broke the 12 -year -old for Democrats when they swept the elections of the ruling, conservative lieutenant and public lawyer in Virginia four years ago.

But the Republicans have not won the Commonwealth in the White House competition since 2004.

Trump lost the state with six points in the presidential elections last November, which was improved from four points from his defeat in 2020.

However, the Republicans are expected to face an upward battle in November. With only one exception since 1977, the White House party has lost the Virginia elections.
