VP Vance calls out Big Tech’s ‘bulls—‘ claim of worker shortages

Vice president JD Vance criticized the major technology companies for launching American workers and then claiming that they need foreign action visas on Wednesday.

The H-1B visa program allows us to employ foreign workers for specialized professions and is used by the technology industry by an overwhelming majority. However, it has been a long -term controversial for some conservatives, who say they are being abused by technology companies to bring the cheap Labor Party to replace American workers.

Vans spoke with the Podcast hosts, everyone in a committee in “Winning the Artificial Intelligence Racing”, the summit of artificial intelligence in Washington, DC, and the vice president indicated that although some of the Silicon Valley technology companies claim to need “external visa programs to find workers,” “the educated employment rate in the college for the graduates of STEM in this country.”

He added: “By the way, some large technology companies see that you will lay off 9000 workers, and then they will apply for a set of external visas,” indicating that Microsoft announced that it has registered 9,000 workers at the beginning of July amid reports that the company had applied for H1-B visas.

Verse said that although President Donald Trump has called for the best and shiny to come to the United States and help build great companies, at the same time, “I do not want companies to launch 9,000 American workers and then go and say,” We cannot find workers here in America. “This is a story —- a story.”

One of the team members indicated that there were “standard profits, a standard market ceiling”, who saw Vans as an additional evidence of something that was wrong.

“But their saying that they are desperate to workers,” Vans said. “Therefore, I have not yet had a conversation with Microsoft. In defense, I just discovered.”

H-1B visas is an issue that made a set of political electoral districts, from the Maga base to senator Bernie Sanders, against Trump and some Silicon Valley companies that have improved it in recent months. During an episode in June 2024 of the “All-In”, Trump promised to expand the H-1B visa program specifically for technology workers.

The H-1B case incited the Maga base against ELON Musk businessman and former presidential presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy in December, shortly after Ramaswamy’s condemnation “average” American culture.

“The reason I am in America along with many important people who built Spacex and Tesla and hundreds of other companies that made America strong because of the H1B,” MUSK wrote on X at the time. Then he continued to quote the 2008 comedy movement, “Tropic Thunder”, and said, “Take a big step back and f — in your face.”
