‘We believe in Villa Park’

UNai Emery insists that its Aston Villa team is still believed despite the 3-1 defeat against Paris Saint-Germain in the quarter-finals in the Champions League in Paris on Wednesday.
Morgan Rogers gave a sudden progress in Parc Des Princesss noisy after 35 minutes, but the high goals of Desire Doue, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Nuno Mendes completed the return to the dominant Ligue 1 heroes.
The result means that the Emery side has a huge task at their hands in the second stage if they have any hope to apply to the end of the four elite club competition in Europe.

But Villa coach believes that the house supports his team has the ability to cause discomfort next week at Villa Park.
“More or less than the expectations that you passed in 90 minutes [tonight] Happened, “Emery confessed.
“The result, there is no big difference between 2-1 and 3-1 because we will play at home next week. It will remain a big challenge for us but we can feel the power at home with our support.
“We knew before the match that we needed to be clinical and we were clinical in the first half. The second half is not.
“The match is the first station. Of course, the result is not good for us, but it may be positive to be at home where we can get our momentum and use our strength.
“We believe in our support, and we believe in Villa Park. We believe that the players can perform the best performance next week.”
Rogers echoed the feelings of his manager, adding that the players have nothing to lose.
“We have another leg to try to run it and we will go to everything and try to win the tie, and in the end we will see where he takes us,” said Rogers.
“We didn’t want to come here [Paris] And to be only a spectator. We wanted to participate and try to compete and felt that we did so for large parts. Obviously, the result is not great but we have another game and we will try to convert it.
“We have quality to convert this.”

“We have quality in our dressing room. We are here for some reason. We want to fight, we want to try to win, and in the end we have enough quality to cause problems in the world.
“We have nothing to lose. There was no one to win the tie in the first place, so why not only go. This is the mentality that I have, this is the mentality that we all and the manager.
“We just have to continue this and continue to believe that we can do that and see where it takes us. We definitely have the quality to convert this so that this is not done yet.”
Villa Paris Saint -Germain welcomed at Villa Park on Tuesday evening, with the start of the match at 20:00 UK time.
