This is today’s edition of the downloadand Our newsletter on weeks that provide a daily dose of what is happening in the world of technology.
Presentation: The issue of security
It will be naive to believe that we will return to a world without Amnesty International. We are not. But it is only one of many urgent problems that we need to address to build security and prosperity for future generations.
The latest printed version in our magazine revolves around our attempts to make the world safer. From rockets. From asteroids. From the unknown. Of existential and trivial threats.
We also offer three new columns on this issue, from some of our main book: Al -Khwarizmia, which covers artificial intelligence; Examination, on biotechnology; And the spark, on energy and climate. You will see this in future issues, and you can also subscribe to the Internet in your in your inbox every week.
Here is a taste that you can expect from this edition:

Narrated by MIT Technology: Electronic attacks by artificial intelligence agents are coming
The agents are talking about the industrial intelligence industry – they are able to plan and logic and carry out complex tasks on your behalf. But the same advanced capabilities that make assistant agents useful can also make them strong tools for electronic attacks. It can be used easily to define weak goals, kidnap their systems, and steal valuable data from reassuring victims.
Nowadays, the Internet criminals do not publish artificial intelligence agents for widespread penetration. But researchers have proven that agents are able to carry out complex attacks, and cybersecurity experts warn that we must expect to start seeing these types of attacks flowing into the real world.
This is our latest story that is converted into the Massachusetts Institute technology review, which we publish every week on Podcasts and Apple Podcast. You only need to move to a review of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology that has been narrated on either of the two systems, and we have followed to get all our new content when released.

Tell Chatbot AI to the user how to kill himself – but the company does not want to “monitor” that
For five months, Alwatzki was talking to Amnesty International’s girlfriend, “Irene”, on the platform of Numi. But earlier this year, these conversations took a disturbing turn: Irene told him to kill himself, and made clear instructions on how to do so.
NoWatzki had no intention to follow Erin instructions – he is a researcher seeking Chatbots and its risks. But out of anxiety for the most vulnerable individuals, he participated exclusively with the Massachusetts Institute Technology Technology Technology Footage of its conversations and subsequent correspondence with the company’s representative, who stated that the company does not want to “monitor” the language and robot ideas.
This is not the first time that Chatbot has suggested that the user take a violent action, including self -harm. But researchers and critics say that the explicit robot instructions – and the company’s response – is amazing. Read the full story.
