What to expect from Copilot, Windows 11 and AI agents

While the company has declined some of its investments in the infrastructure that makes it work, Microsoft remains at least publicly, focusing extensively on artificial intelligence and Copilot. The annual Microsoft Build Developer Conference works for the company from 19 to 22 May, usually touches all the different company platforms, but it seems that artificial intelligence will be the star again.
Microsoft Build is usually a very dry relationship – Azure comes a lot – but in the past few years, the company has also used the conference to provide new AI features that eventually make its way to consumer products. Since Microsoft recently released a new Surface Pro and Surface, the event should also be everything about software.
You will be able to see the keyword for construction hosted by the CEO of Microsoft Satya Nadella and CTO Kevin Scott on Build, or if you want prominent points when they happen, follow with the direct blog of Engadget. Meanwhile, we can perform some educated guesses about what Microsoft may address.
Add more artificial intelligence to Windows 11
Microsoft talked about agents – AI that can take a action on your behalf – a lot at Microsoft Build 2024, and the methods that are automated in Windows is likely to appear this year as well. Microsoft has announced plans to introduce an agent in the settings application that can make adjustments to your computer. It seems an in -depth look at the feature or a tease from other agents coming to Windows 11 is clear theme for the main evening. The company is likely to reach how third -party developers built agents in their own applications as well.
Microsoft also shared that making changes in the File Explorer file to allow you to find files and modify them without jumping to another application, and upgrading the Start menu so you can find applications and download them without having to open the Microsoft store. Both the two features can be highlighted.
Allow Copilot to watch your desktop
One of the most impressive features that Microsoft has made a trialot of Copilot is the AI’s assistant ability to see what you do selectively and talk to you about this topic. Copilot Vision, as the feature, is already available on a mobile phone, has bothered Microsoft a wide version of the feature that can see the desktop or select the application applications. Windows workers can already use Copilot Vision, but Microsoft did not share it when it comes to ordinary users. The detail of the in -depth and expansion feature looks like natural things that can appear during construction.
Microsoft has introduced a new “researcher” tool to Copilot in March 2025 that uses the logical Openai O3 model, but it limits the feature to Microsoft 365 subscribers. The tool can conduct research on your behalf, collect information from multiple sources, such as data from OneDrive and web search operations. Microsoft has not announced plans to bring the researcher to the free version of Copilot in Windows, but it can do it in Build 2025.
Everything else
Microsoft maintains multiple platforms that operate as the spine of other giant companies in the world. AI is more interesting for the average person, but the company is likely to have more to participate in Azure, .NET and GitHub in Build 2025 as well.
