White House touts immigration success in first 100 days of Trump’s term

The White House started celebrating the first 100 days of President Donald Trump in office by highlighting his efforts to combat illegal immigration on Monday.
Tom Human, head of migration enforcement and customs, joined the White House press secretary Caroline Levit at a press conference early on Monday. The husband described huge declines in border crossings as well as new executive orders that aim to deport operations and further limits.
“We are in the process of implementing the largest deportation campaign in American history,” Levit said. “After four years of mutilation by the Biden Harris administration, our heroic officers can finally perform their jobs.”
Human joined Levitte and accused the Biden administration of “intentionally not guaranteed the border”, although he received very safe borders from the first Trump administration.

“Look, I started in the 1984 border patrol. I have been in this more than 40 years ago. I worked with six presidents, starting with Ronald Reagan. Every president has ever worked for border security seriously because you cannot get national security if you do not have strong border security. We must know who will come, what will come and why it comes, to some extent, right?”
Human noted that “even President Obama and President Clinton” had somewhat security. He said that Biden is “the first president in the history of this nation who took office and did not intentionally believe.”
