Ron DeSantis just took over $66 million worth of prime Miami real estate and gifted it to Trump for a presidential library

On Tuesday, Florida officials decided to allocate nearly three acres of real estate in the center of Miami, next to the historic Freedom Tower as a possible location for President Donald Trump’s future presidential library.
Republican ruler Ron Desantis and his weight Florida voted to provide the evaluation of more than 66 million dollars to the institution that plans to the president’s archives after the administration, on the pretext that the property owned by the state -run Miami Dead college will provide “greater benefit to the public” and “increasing economic development activities”.
It is the latest demonstration by the major Republicans in Florida from their loyalty to Trump, who turned the center of his political world into his adopted mandate.
The property surrounds prominent apartments in a distinctive extension of Bissayne Street, on which the palm tree lined up, overlooks the waterfront garden and through the street from the basketball field located in Miami Heet. It was used by Miami Dead College as an employee.
According to the state constitution, the gift of some state real estate requires approval by the Collective Decisions Authority, which consists of the public prosecutor, the financial manager and the agricultural commissioner, as well as the ruler.
The transportation on Tuesday is granted the Donald J. Trump Presidential, Company, Control of Dream Developer’s Dream. The Foundation is led by three trustees: Eric Trump, Tiffany husband Trump Michael Paulus, and Trump’s lawyer James Kelly.
“It will be the greatest presidential library ever built and honor the greatest president,” Eric Trump said on a social media.
The site is also located next to Tower Freedom Tower, a historic Spanish revival building that includes one of the first Miami newspapers before it works as a resource center for hundreds of thousands of Cubans who fled communism and requested asylum in the United States. It now works as a museum by the college, and it is a symbol of vibrant immigrant heritage in the city.
The historic tower was also a site for recent protests against the Trump campaign against immigrants. The Americans, who dominated politics in Miami, voted by a overwhelming majority of Trump. But his mass deportation agenda is increasingly seen as betrayal, leaving many support.
The sites associated with the University of Florida Atlantic in Boca Raton and the International University of Florida on the outskirts of Miami were previously launched as possible library sites. Desantis has signed a draft law this year as it excludes local governments from preventing the development of a presidential library, with the aim of canceling the potential opposition in liberal provinces or municipalities.
