Y Combinator startup Firecrawl is ready to pay $1M to hire three AI agents as employees

Firecrawl, which is supported by Y Combinator, has returned to searching for AI’s agent staff. We also reported again in February, she did not result in her first attempt by artificial intelligence worth employment.
But three new ads have now been placed on the YC workboard for “Artificial Intelligence Agents only”, and the total budget has allocated a million dollars to achieve this.
Within about a week of the appearance of new job posts, he had about 50 applicants, says the founder Calip Bever told Techcrunch.
Firecrawl provides a web crawling tool that devotes data from the LLMS websites. PEFFer, a shaded part of Amnesty International’s ecosystem where bad online crawls can sometimes reap websites such as DDOS attacks. But Firewcrawl gained popularity by trying to bring some handrails, he says.
For example, many of its customers are institutions that make their own data to use the internal LLM. He says that some websites want to include their data in Chatbot responses, just as they want Google links. In addition, the tool honors Robot.txt settings and can be set on a general web site and share data with others.
Thus, opening a job is a content creation agent “never sleeps and ships” that will independently produce blog publications and “high -quality” educational programs on how to use his product, says startup advertisement. Firecrawl wants Amnesty International to watch the scales of participation and use this to independently improve the audience for its content.
In other words: The agent must decide what to create, create, spread, measure the audience, and develop mastery of these comments independently. If you are a border line made for blogging, this may be the task for you. The announced wage is $ 5,000 per month.
The company is also looking for a customer support engineer who will be assigned to formulate the workflow of artificial intelligence that responds to customer problems within two minutes and can deal with tickets on his own, and know when to escalate to humans. Previous experience in providing customer support is requested. The wage is also $ 5,000 per month.
The third opening is the novice developer agent who will be assigned to give priority to the issues of Gabbab received, writing documents and writing in the Typescript and Go code. Again, the wage also $ 5,000 per month.
But here is the fishing: Firecrawl also hopes to employ human creatures or facilities behind these robots – and the budget of one million dollars is to employ both agents and human beings, although it is not clear the number of years that the budget is supposed to be covered. The startup company may completely employ humans, or as contractors (which may be more logical if they create many agents for many companies). Pefer says Firecrawl is also entertaining bids from other startups specialized in creating the types of agents that are looking for, for example in customer service, says Pefer.
The truth is that the Amnesty International Firecrawl Dreams employee is not yet present. Maybe you will never do it.
“I cannot replace artificial intelligence today,” says Pefer. “The future, what we see, is a world in which the next 10x engineers operate armies of agents, artificial intelligence systems that they build, maintain, and monitor. What we want to do is work with people who want to be factors of factors.”
Firecrawl is not the only one. YC Jobs Council is full of jobs for developers. Will their creativity replace them because the Silicon Valley is constantly wished? This is the real question of a million dollars.
